Parents please remember to register your child(ren) through FinalForms for the upcoming school year school and indicate which option of learning you will begin the year with. This needs to be done by Aug. 15

If child(ren) are not registered in Final Forms by Aug. 15th we will assume students are dropping into option 1

OPEN HOUSE
In an effort to social distance our families and provide the safest environment possible we are offering our open house over the course of two evenings. We ask that our families adhere to this schedule and be prepared to enter our building, following our district safety procedures (This will also allow for our students to be exposed and practice some of our safety mandates). This specific information will be shared out via our social media accounts and website as we get a little closer.

Grades 7-12 Open House
Date- Wednesday, September 2nd
Time- 5-7pm

Schedules will be mailed in advance as well as students having access by 8.24.20 online via ProgressBook

Chromebooks will be available for pick-up for all NEW TO DANBURY students grades 7-12 in the multiple purpose room (Current students going into grades 7-12 will continue to use the Chromebook sent home in the spring).

6:30-7:00 Open Time Slot If Your Family Has A Conflict With Previous Schedule

Chromebooks will be available for pick-up for all Option 2 students K-3 or new students in your child’s classroom. Students going into grades 4-12 will use the Chromebook sent home in the spring

Option 1 Students entering 4th grade should return their Chromebook and charger during open house (assigned from the spring) to their new 4th grade teacher

STAGGERED START
Finally In order to prepare for the smoothest transition and to allow for maximum preparation and assistance with our students, we are creating a staggered start

Our students learning remotely (those who selected option 2) will follow their schedule and work with us on Tuesday Sept. 8. (Our students selecting option 1 will remain at home, no school)

On Wednesday Sept. 9 our option 1 learners will report to school for their first day of school. (Our option 2 kids will have no school)

Thursday Sept. 10-all students will be in back to school in their selected learning option
