Military Families

Danbury Local Schools Welcomes Military Families

Danbury Local School District is dedicated to military-connected students and families in order to provide them resources and support.  Danbury Local Schools has a long tradition and connection with ourmilitary families especially the Coast Guard and Border Patrol. Our school is just a mile away from our local Coast Guard Station and ten miles away from our local Border Patrol Center. The school has a staff point of contact for military students and families who serves as the primary liaison between them and the school.  The liaison completes professional development on special considerations for military students and families under federal law.  The liaison identifies and informs teachers of the military-connected students in their classrooms and the special considerations military families and students should receive.

The point of contact for each of the buildings are as follows:

Danbury Elementary (PreK-4):  Mr. Dan Humphrey

Danbury Middle School (5-8):  Mr. Keith Mora

Danbury High School (9-12):  Mr. Joe Miller
