Electronic Registration is Coming!
Danbury Local School District is pleased to announce that we are transitioning to electronic forms collection for the 2019-20 school year. We have partnered with FinalForms, an online forms and data management service that will be replacing paper forms. FinalForms allows you to complete and sign enrollment, back-to-school and athletic participation forms for your students. The most exciting news is that FinalForms saves data from season-to-season and year-to-year, meaning that you will never need to enter the same information twice! FinalForms also pre-populates information wherever possible, for each of your students, saving you time.

Our FinalForms rollout will begin with all students in grades 7-12 who will participate in a fall sport for the 2019-20 school year. Beginning the week of May 28th, 2019, parents of these students will receive an email from FinalForms containing account sign up information. Please use this information to create an account and submit your athlete's information BEFORE they begin practicing for any fall sports. All students who have submitted online forms during this window will not be required to re-submit back-to-school forms in the fall.
**All fall sports athletes must complete their online forms before they will be able to participate**

Start Talking! to your child about drugs
Drugs are robbing too many Ohio students of their critical learning years. Surveys show that some of our students as young as 11 and 12 are trying drugs for the first time. At the same time, almost one in three of Ohio’s high school students is misusing prescription drugs.
Google Safety Center image Google Safety Center
Google's Safety Center offers parents good advice on keeping their kids safe online. Much of the information provided in the Safety Center is focused on things like privacy settings, search filters, and Android app management. The information on settings and filters is complemented with advice on talking to kids about responsible online behaviors. That advice comes from organizations including Common Sense Media, iKeep Safe, and OnGuard Online. (from Free Technology For Teachers - Richard Byrne)
