ANNOUNCEMENTS January

There
will be a prom committee meeting TOMORROW at 7:15 a.m in the
preschool room!
Don’t
forget the CCP meeting scheduled for Wednesday, January 31 at 6 pm in the
auditorium.
Parents/guardians
should plan to attend this meeting if they have a student who will be in grade 7-12
next year who is interested in participating in the College Credit Plus program
for the 2018-19 school year. All questions, should be directed to the guidance
office.
Our
National Honor Society is holding a toy drive to benefit the Rainbow Babies and
Children’s Hospital. RAINBOW PROJECT
boxes have been placed in your homerooms along with lists of items that are
acceptable to donate. There are some
restrictions on what they can accept so please check the lists before you bring
anything in! The homeroom with the most
items will win donuts!
Seniors--if
you need a Jostens order form for your graduation cap, gown, and tassel, please
stop in the HS office.
Attention
juniors and seniors---representatives from different colleges will be visiting
during the next few months. These visits
will be posted on the Guidance Bulletin Board which is located in the hall by
the art classroom. Seniors need to watch
this bulletin board for scholarship opportunities and ACT information, too!
Attention
HS students---If you are interested in helping the PTCO run the concession
stands for upcoming games, please stop in the HS office for information on how
to sign up! This is one way to earn
community service hours.
Student
fees are $40 this year. Please pay them
in the HS office as soon as possible. If
you have your payment in your locker, please bring that to the HS office during
lunch today!
Attention
all HS students who would like to begin strength and conditioning training for
a current sport or an upcoming sport---The weight room will be open
from 6:30-7:10 AM and 3:00-3:45 pm Monday-Thursday.
Key
Club is collecting pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald House. Containers are in the HS office and Mrs.
Scott’s classroom. We are collecting pop
tabs all year!
