BIG NEWS for Laker Families – Free Meals for All Students This Year!

We’re starting the school year with something to celebrate—EVERY student in our district will enjoy:

  • 1 FREE breakfast each school day

  • 1 FREE lunch each school day

  • No fees. No qualifications. Just healthy meals for every child!

  • This amazing benefit is made possible through the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP)—and it’s approved one year at a time. That means we must re-qualify every single year to keep it going.

How can you help us keep this benefit for our kids?

  • ALL families are asked to fill out the Income Verification Form even though meals are free this year. The form can be found in FinalForms, linked on our webpage (District -> Nutritional Services page -> “Free and Reduced Meals at Danbury” link -> “Download/Print a Household Information Survey” link) and the form will be available in the Cafeteria during Open House on Aug. 26 @ 5-7pm.

  • Information provided on the form will remain confidential.

Take a few minutes to complete the form—your small action has a BIG impact!
