📣 Danbury Families & Community – Join Us This Thursday to Talk Online Safety with Trevor Johnson!
On Thursday, October 16th, Agent Trevor Johnson from Ottawa County’s Drug Abuse Response Team (DART) will visit Danbury Local Schools to speak with students in grades 3–12 about topics including online safety, responsible cell phone use, and how to stay safe from strangers and inappropriate web content.
Thursday evening, all parents and community members are invited to a special presentation in the Danbury Auditorium. The event is open to the public and will also be livestreamed for those who wish to watch from home. This session builds on the conversations happening with our students and offers families practical ways to help kids stay safe, responsible, and confident online.

About Agent Trevor Johnson:
With a background as a police officer, firefighter, EMT-B, fire instructor, and SWAT medic, Trevor brings years of experience as a first responder. In 2017, he was hired by Ottawa County to create and oversee DART, and later joined the Ottawa County Major Crimes Unit. Outside of work, Trevor enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, playing the guitar, accordion, and ukulele, and is also an avid beekeeper.
