We have received multiple reports that local residents and businesses are receiving fraudulent fundraising phone calls. The callers claim to be raising money on behalf of Danbury organizations for a tournament at the school.
Please be aware that Danbury Local Schools and Danbury Athletics are NOT making these calls and have NOT authorized or contracted with any third party to solicit donations on our behalf by phone.
If you receive one of these calls, please use caution before providing any personal, financial, or payment information. If you have any questions about a fundraising request claiming to represent Danbury Schools or Danbury Athletics, please contact us directly to verify its legitimacy.
